Michael has been Waterskiing since 1998.   He only lasted a couple months on "double skis" because he was constantly trying to clear the boat wakes like everyone else, so his Dad threw him a "single" ski.  After his first few tries, he was up, cutting and skiing like a pro.  He started Wakeboarding in 2002, when he saw his older brother and his friends boarding.  Wakeboarding came very easy to him and he has become better with each season.  Although he spends most of his time Wakeboarding, he will pull out his ski every now and then just to show his Dad he can still keep up with him.

Michael started competing in Wakeboarding in 2006.

Alicia Lembo:

Age:  19   Birthdate:  07 March 1989
Student, Sophmore ~ Antelope Valley College
Jessica began Waterskiing in 1996.  Like the rest of her family, she didn't want to use "double skies" too long.  She was using a "single" ski by the end of that summer.  She also began Wakeboarding during the summer of 2002.  Although she isn't as aggressive as the "boys" when it comes to tricks, she is determined to catch up to them.......one day :)  She too, will still ski once and while just to show everyone.....she still can!!

Jessica will start competing in the Novice division for the 2007 season.

Alicia's first try at  Waterskiing was 1995.  Each year she would try once or twice before giving up and just wanting to ride in the boat....until 1998.  From her first ride on her little "double skis" she had "perfect" form.  As with her brothers and sister, she too wanted to "single" ski like everyone else in her family and by the end of the '98 season, she was "single" skiing like a little pro.  2002 was the year for Wakeboarding in the Lembo Family, as she also gave up her ski for a board. Although she devotes most of her time to Wakeboarding, she still has her waterski and will pull it out every once in a while just for fun.  During the 2005 season, Alicia had a pretty serious Wakeboarding accident.  Since then she has been slow to return to cuts and jumps but with each ride she builds more confidence :)

Alicia will begin competing in the Novice Division for the 2007 season.

Personal Profile:

My name is Michael and I love to board and I will just about do anything you give me to do out doors. I’ve been asked if I had some kind of ability to do anything I wanted but I told them no I have a family and friends who loves me and will back me up the whole way. It is the best I could ask for. I love doing any thing I can get air on, just the feeling of flying through the air and knowing that it is just you and gravity keeping you from injury or death. But wake boarding has been my life, I love it to death. Once I saw my cousin trying to pull back flips it set me off. In 2003 I tried my first flip. For about a season I tried and tried but I was too scared. In 2004 I started again but this time I was approaching the wake but letting go of the handle. By the end of the season I had landed it. The last trip I landed 8 in a row and I was set. In 2005 I had it and I was able to land it every time. I tried new tricks but none happened. In 2006 I was fired up for the season and was just going all out. I now had 2 flips under my belt so my parents put me in for competition. Soon after I was pulling 360s and im still learning and waiting to get better.
Personal Profile:

I enjoy hanging out with the homies and having fun.  I like going wakeboarding during the summer and in the off season I like to go snow boarding, riding bmx, motorcycle riding, and any thing else that you can get crazy air with. I think that the sport that I’m the best at is wakeboarding, mainly because I feel more natural behind a boat. I didn't start wakeboarding until I watched Mike. Between the 2 of us, since we were little kids, we have always seem to compete and try to out do the other.  Since September 2006,  I have competed in two wakeboard competitions and plan on competing in many more.
Personal Profile:

I live in Palmdale, Ca where our family home has been since 1985.  I have spent every summer at Pine Flat Lake, about 21 miles northeast of Fresno, Ca.  My family has been skiing there for more then 25 years.  I started skiing on "double" skis at the age of 13 and went to a "single" ski that same summer.  I recently started Wakeboarding after watching my little brother Michael about 4 years ago.  I also enjoy snowboarding, dirt bike riding and other outdoor sports.

My goal is to be a better Wakeboarder and join my family in "Team Lemboski".  Progressing each season and being inspired by my brother "Michael Lembo"
Personal Profile:

Well what is there to say about me? I’m a senior at Highland High School in Palmdale CA. After high school I want to go to college and get a degree in criminology, and after that degree I want to attend UC Santa Barbara, and achieve a degree in marine biology. I love to wakeboard, snowboard, water ski, play football, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. Pretty much anything that involves a ball, board, or water! I’ve been wakeboarding for the past couple years now, but not as aggressive as I used to, due to a knee injury and a really bad crash where I lost my memory. I still don’t remember the crash on the board but I’m hesitant and extremely careful of what I’m doing and what new things I try.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
Although Michael is the only one competing at this time, we have left the profiles of our other riders in hope they return to the water soon :)
