Welcome to the Official Team Lemboski Website!!

Announcement:
Michael Finishes in 1st Place in Southern California - Expert Division(please see BELOW for further details)

We are a family-run team that just loves to be at the lake enjoying the sport of waterskiing and wakeboarding with our family and friends.  During the Spring and Summer months, we attend local wakeboard competitions, not just for the placements but to have fun on the water while spending time with others who share our same compassion for this sport.
The only exception to this is Michael Lembo.  He takes this sport very seriously, as his goal is to go Pro one day.  This young man is extremely talented and focused on his goals.  Because of this, it's not a matter of "if" he will...only "when".  We are very proud of him and his accomplishments in the sport of Wakeboarding.  We know he will achieve his dream and as so, we've dedicated this website to him.

Along with Michael's goal of becoming pro one day, he also wants to design and manufacture his own line of wakeboards.  His first step in this goal was his Senior Project this year.  Below you will see the wakeboard that Michael designed and made himself with the help of his mentor, Steve Slaughter.  Now Michael has the "bug" and he has many ideas to begin his own wakeboard line!!

We are excited to be able to share with you what is going on with our up-and-coming Wakeboard Stars that include not just our family but also our friends too.

Please enjoy your visit and come back soon to see what new and exciting things have been going on.

Thank you for your continued prayers.  God Bless you ALL!

What an AWESOME Season Michael has had!

First, please accept my apologizes for the web site not being updated throughout the season.  I will get some new pictures, Tournament Placements and Information done as soon as possible.

As of today, 24 August 2009, here is the latest news…
Michael has finished the INT Amateur Tour in 1st Place for the 2009 Season in the Expert Division!!  This was his goal and is a person best for him and he is walking on air right now.  He started the season placing 1st in the first tournament of the year and NEVER lost that spot, staying in 1st place all season long.  He had some bad days and he had some great days and in the end, he had a GREAT finish!!

So what does all this mean?  Well, due to the economy INT has decided to cancel their annual INT US Championships in which all 26 states come together to compete until next year, 2010.  In place of having Championships, the different States are getting together to have “Regional” events.  Michael will be competing in the “INT Western Regional” on 02-04 October 2009 at Villa Lagos Lakes in Gerber, CA (near Red Bluff).  He will be going against the top 2-3 Expert Riders in Southern California, Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Utah.  They are expecting approximately 240 riders for Wakeboarding, Wake skate, Knee boarding and Salmon Skiing.

With this 1st place seeding for 2009, he has already received his invitation to compete in the 2010 INT US Championships which are being held in Florida, (we do not know what the exact location will be yet but will keep you posted).

There are a few tournaments still scheduled for the 2009 season, those are backed by the WWA, so he isn’t finished yet!!  We are really looking forward to the one in Bullhead City, AZ…”Riverfest 2009”.  That is a 3 day event that covers not only water sports but BMX, Skateboarding and many others.  I know that will be blast.

As always, we ask that you keep Michael in your prayers for God to continue to watch over him and keep him not only focused at the task at hand…but safe and injury free.

Please keep checking back and we promise to get everything up to date.

Michael made this wakeboard for his nephew Nickalas.  This is his First Team Lemboski Prototype Wakeboard!!

(p.s.  He did this paint scheme this to match our boat...very cool!)
On a sadder note:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Caleb Willis, who passed away last April 2007, during an accident while Wakeboarding, in Spring Valley.  We all know the risks
involved in our sport but it doesn't help when dealing with the loss of someone you know and love.  God Bless you Caleb!
